Group Meeting:  A few children have brought in their boxes for Valentines.  We would like to have all of them in by next Monday.  If  you've misplaced the directions for this, please let a teacher know so that we can send home another copy.

 Small Groups:  The activities for this week are listed in yesterday's post.  The schedule for today was:

Story:  The story for today was Jalapeno Bagels by Natasha Wing.  While trying to decide what to take for his school's International Day, Pablo helps his Mexican mother and Jewish father at their bakery and discovers a food that represents both his parents' backgrounds, Jalapeno Bagels. 

Large Group:   I brought a box full of utensils from the kitchen for the children to identify.  We decided if that utensil would be helpful for baking bread.

Letter Learning:  The letter for today was Zz.  We have completed the alphabet for a second time.

Snacks:  The snack for this morning was Cheez-its brought by Graham.  The afternoon snack was lemon mini muffins, cheese sticks, and juice brought by Colin.  Thank you, Graham and Colin!
