Group Meeting: As a part of the Bread Study that we are beginning, the children will be signing in by answering a question on the Promethean board.  Today's question was "Do You Like Bread?"  The children answered by printing their names under "Yes" or "No".  Everyday there will be a new question.

Small Groups:  The activities for this week are listed in Monday's post.  The schedule for today was:
Activity #1 Green Group
Activity #2 Red Group
Activity #3 Yellow Group

Story:  The story for today was Snowballs by Lois Ehlert.  This is the story of a family that has been waiting for a heavy snow.  When it snows, they build a snow dad, mom, boy, girl, baby, dog, and cat.  They decorate them using items from their house.  Ask your child to tell you what happens at the end of the story.

Large Group:  Following the story, the children glued snowballs onto blue paper to create a snowman.  They were instructed to take it home and ask their families to help them decorate it.  Directions have been paper clipped to the snowman for you.

Snacks:  The morning snack person was Rifa.  She brought crackers, grapes, and juice.  The afternoon snack person was Miriam.  She brought carrots, pepper sticks, ranch dip, and juice.  Thank you, Rifa and Miriam!
