Group Meeting:  The children danced to the Snowflake Dance when they arrived at school today.  We practiced catching snowflakes on our nose, tongue, and lips. 

Small Groups:  The Let's Find Out Magazine for today was about the book we read yesterday, The Snowy Day.  We watched a video about activities that we can do in the snow.  We also learned how snowflakes are made. 

Story:  The story for today was The Wild Toboggan Ride by Suzan Reid.  Nikki is having a lot of fun sledding down the hill, but Grandpa Dan is getting cold.  Nikki convinces him to push her one more time.   As he pushes her, he accidentally steps on his scarf and lands in the toboggan with Nikki.  Down the hill they go picking up a few riders along the way.  Ask your child to tell you what Grandpa Dan says when they get to the bottom.

Large Group:  The Green Group brought items for Show and Tell.

Letter Learning:  The letter for today was Nn.

Snacks:  The snack person for the morning class was Kinsley.  She brought cheese sticks and milk.  The afternoon snack person was Lynae.  She brought animal crackers and juice.  Thank you, Kinsley and Lynae!
