Group Meeting:  We are on the last page of our Math Journals for the month of September.  The children will bring them home on Monday to share with you.  We will be starting the October journals on Monday. 

Small Groups:  For group time today, we did a "Let's Find Out" magazine.  This issue was about being a good friend.  Please take a few minutes to look through the paper with your child.  We watched a video about Ruuxa and Raina that was amazing!

Story:  I re-read the story Rumble in the Jungle from yesterday.  Today, we were looking for four words: den, cubs, horns, and jaws.  As we found those words in the story, we took a few minutes to discuss the meaning of each word.  As you read books at home, take a few minutes to define a word that might be unfamiliar to your child.

Large Group:  The children in the Green Group brought items for Show and Tell.  They did a very good job of telling us about what they had brought.

Snacks:  The morning snack person was Kenedy.  She brought Ritz Handi-Snacks with cheese and juice.  The afternoon snack person was Liam.  He brought Goldfish and juice.  Thank you!
