Group Meeting:  The children have jobs assigned to them every week to help with clean up time.  Yesterday and today, the children had to find their names and assigned job for the week.  This makes clean up time go so quickly and smoothly that we have more time to do other things.  Ask your child to tell you if they can remember what job they did today.

Small Groups:  We rotated children in the small group activities that were listed in yesterdays post.

Story:  The story for today was A Color of His Own by Leo Lionni.  This is a story about a chameleon who wishes that he didn't change colors.  He would like to have his own color like other animals do.  Then he finds another chameleon.  They decide that if they stick together, they will always have their own color, even if it changes now and then.  We discussed how nice it was to have a friend.

Large Group:  The children learned about big lines yesterday.  Today, we learned about little lines, big curves, and little curves.  We played a guessing game to help us remember their names.

Snacks:  The snack person for the morning class was Benjamin.  He brought Ants on a Log (celery, peanut butter, and raisins) and milk.  The snack person for the afternoon was Brody.  He brought Teddy Grahams and juice.  Thank you!
