Group Meeting:  I read The Pigeon Wants a Puppy by Mo Willems.  The pigeon wants a puppy, but does he know what a puppy is? 
Several more children brought in reading papers, so we added more ice cream scoops to our bulletin board.

Story:  At story time, I read The Pigeon Finds a Hot Dog by Mo Willems.  Pigeon has found a hot dog.  Along comes his friend Duckling.  Duckling is asking a lot of questions about the hot dog?  Does Duckling want the hot dog?  Ask your child to tell you what happens at the end.

Large Group:  We finally got to go outside!!  It was a nice day to be out.

Snacks:  The morning class had Goldfish and milk brought by Meier.  The afternoon class had crackers, cheese sticks, and juice brought by Lyndsey.  Thank you, Meier and Lyndsey!
