Group Meeting:  I read the book Cat the Cat, Who Is That? by Mo Willems.   Cat the Cat says hello to all of her friends.  What does she do when she meets someone she does not know?  She makes a new friend.
The children added more scoops to the bulletin board as reading papers are coming in.  We are about a third of the way to our goal.  Keep reading!

Small Groups:  The activities for this week are listed in yesterday's blog.  The schedule for today was:

Story:  At story time,  I read Knuffle Bunny by Mo Willems.  Little Trixie is helping her dad at the laundromat.  When it is time to leave, they accidentally leave her favorite toy Knuffle Bunny behind.  Trixie tries to tell her dad, but because she is a toddler, her words don't make sense.  Will Trixie get Knuffle Bunny back?

Large Group:  Following our story, the children drew pictures of their favorite things that they would not want to leave behind. 
We also learned a new action song, The Pony Ride.  Ask your child to show you the motions.

Snacks:  The morning class had grapes, Scooby Snacks, and juice brought by Lauren.  The afternoon class had Minion graham crackers and juice brought by Lynae.  Thank you, Lauren and Lynae.
