Group Meeting:  Today is the first day of November.  We are switching to fall stickers to help us count how many days that we have been in school.  We started new math journals.

Small Groups:  The activities for this week are listed in Monday's post.  The schedule for today was:

Story:  The story for today was The Mitten as told by Jan Brett.  Nikki's grandmother knitted him white mittens.  The first time that he wore them, he dropped one in the snow.  One by one, animals find the mitten and decide to share it to keep warm.  Ask your child to tell the last animal that entered the mitten and what happened next.

Large Group:  The children completed an obstacle course in which they had to throw, balance, and crawl.

Letter Learning:  The letter for today was Uu.

Snacks:  The morning snack person was Jade.  She brought Goldfish, graham crackers and juice.  the afternoon snack person was Grace O.  She brought graham crackers and juice.  Thank you, Jade and Grace!
